How do you see the world. Is it like EverQuest? Where you can be like First person and scroll back to see your character and like move teh view around?!

You can move the camera around while holding down the right mouse button and zoom in and out, but most of the time it lookes like this.

You can run around in either first-person or third-person perspective. You can change how far the camera is from your character using the mouse wheel(there's also customizeable keyboard comands for it for those who don't have a mouse wheel). If you zoom all the way in to your character, you'll be in first-person- you can play the entire game like that(first-person-shooter-ish), or you can play with the game in third-person perspective. I generally prefer third-person, as you're more easily able to see what's going on around you.

the camera system is great. You can zoom into first person or pull way out on third person, you can angle the camera all around you if need be. It's one of the best cameras ever.

Slight OT:

Does the presence of customizable keys for mouse wheel functions imply that we'll be able to re-map our mousewheel to commands that are a bit more useful? Not being able to bind my mousewheel is my one command peeve in this game.

Peace,

Everquest?... GuildWars to Everquest, that's like comparing a Corvette with a Mini-Van(your choice), once you've driven the 'Vette the Mini-Van just won't do.

What, you're comparing GW to an overpriced, gas-guzzling, uninsurable, good-for-looks-only car with a fiberglass exterior that shatters when you stare at it hard, and Everquest to a sensible, stable, comfortable car with lots of leg room and space for six of your friends AND tailgate party fixin's?

Are you sure you got that the right way 'round?
